Notes for integrators

Playlists are short-lived and must not be cached beyond their advertised lifetime. Media segments are immutable once published and may be cached for as long as the client wishes.

Requests outside the published playback paths return a plain 404. This edge serves no user-specific content and keeps no playback history.
